Welcome to a Journey of a Lifetime.

On today I have made the decision to debunk the myths that Black Women don't workout and to remove myself from the statistic that African Americans have a 51% higher obesity rate.  I must be honest so I warn you now if raw and real don't sit well with you then this is not the place.  with that said lets move on.

I have always been at least 200 pounds which is far from the healthy weight of 167(BMI) still not sure why the BMI still exist because it was created before the United States of America. Less I digress  I'm currently 260 pounds which is the one step before Morbidly Obese...  Imagine that.  I'm 5" 10 so unless you are weight conscious then you would never know I weighted this much.  Must people say oh your not that big.   Or you carry your weight well...  well then you carry it.  My favorite accolades is Big and Sexy, Brick House and Amazon.  All lies they tell....  miserable masks of the truth.

Yes I feel beautiful.  I look in the mirror and I see beauty.  However my body says oh hell naw...I know she didn't give me five more pounds to carry this month.  My knees hurt, my back is constantly burning with an extreme pain at the base...need I say more.

Okay I will-  I have a passion for purses and shoes and for the last year I have been looking at a tower of fabulous high heel masterpieces that I can't wear because if I do I will probably fall and bump my head because I can't balance my weight on them.  So today i say enough is enough.  No more games, no more talking just action.  Join me on my journey! I'm ready.
